Develop, document and maintain 6DOF digital and real-time simulations of guided weapon systems and subsystems.
Develops mathematical models of Guided Weapon System components including seekers, Inertial Navigation subsystems, Inertial Measurement Units, guidance and control algorithms, autopilots, propulsion subsystem, and six degree-of-freedom air vehicle dynamic flight equations of motion models.
Conduct analytical studies evaluating the performance potential of integrated guided weapon’s systems and subsystems.
Documents weapon component models, simulation code and study results. Develops and conducts standup briefings explaining work activities and study results.
Experience using C and C++, Python, MatLab, Simulink programming languages
Familiarity with both Windows and Linux Operating Systems
Undergraduate Degree in Engineering, or Physics
Writing and Briefing Experience
Ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD secret security clearance
Minimum ClearanceInterim Secret
