We are seeking a qualified Systems Administrator to support the 53rd Wing Technical Support Services contract, to provide the Air Force IT services for multiple computing platforms, architectures, and operating systems. Position will be located at Eglin AFB, FL.
The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced and highly-technical area that requires a strong work ethic with a solid server, networking and information assurance (IA). The successful candidate will identify, prioritize, and resolve reported customer issues and problems. On a daily basis the successful candidate will serve as the expert for determining hardware, software and systems specification and execution of the patching, fixing, and making all systems compliant under his/her direct control.
The successful applicant will a have experience planning, installing, configuring and troubleshooting Microsoft Hyper V, Server 2012 R2 products across multiple networks as well as networking familiarity/background to include addressing and port and protocol knowledge.

AS degree in information systems or computer science and four (4) to seven (7) years of directly related experience or any equivalent combination of education, experience, training and certifications.
TS/SCI with DCID 6/4 eligibility within 5.5 years at the time of application
Must be willing to submit to a CI polygraph
DOD 8570.01-M IAT-II certification (e.g. Security CE or better) required
Must be willing to provide help desk support (i.e. answer phones, address customer issues, and open/resolve tickets), as needed
Microsoft Server 2012/2012 R2 Experience
Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining Windows 2012/2012R2 systems, AD, DHCP, DNS, NTP, CA, Active Directory, GPO, and other core infrastructure components in an enterprise environment
Strong knowledge of supporting MS tools (WSUS, SCDPM, SCOM).
Microsoft Server Virtualization
Experience Deploying and Maintaining Hyper-V servers and guests
Experience Deploying and Maintaining Microsoft Failover Clustering
Experience Deploying and using System Center Virtualization Manager to manage multiple Hyper-V host clusters
Experience implementing Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
Scripting and/or programming (Power Shell, VB Script or other)
Identify and implement automation opportunities to eliminate repetitive tasks
Experience with MS SQL
Good understanding of basic networking (routing/switching/VLANS/firewalls)
Experience working with 3rd party vendors during development /troubleshooting
Thorough knowledge of NetApp and ability to configure same
Install and configure SnapManager for Hyper-V, Exchange, and SQL Server
Configure iSCSI on NetApp storage and on Windows servers
Install and configure new NetApp Clusters
Install and configure NetApp SnapDrive
Working knowledge of Data ONTAP 7-Mode systems and Data Ontap 8.3.\
Cluster Mode (CMD line), disaster recovery with Snap Manager, and data archive with Snap Vault
Experience working with Storage Virtual Machines (SVMs), logical Interfaces, RAID DP, Aggregates, and Volumes
Configure and implement CIFS/SMB3 and NFS protocols
Office setting that includes sedentary physical effort. However, may include lifting of weight up to thirty (30) pounds as necessary. Must be able to work well with co-workers and all levels of management. No hazards on job or unusual environmental conditions. Work site is located in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing, and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required.
Equipment and Machines
Ability to operate office equipment such as personal computer, printer, copy machine, telephone, fax machine and other equipment including desk supplies and other work related tools as required.
Typical work hours are Monday-Friday 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM. Regular attendance during scheduled hours is extremely important, but not critical, with the exceptions of deadlines and meetings. Punctuality and regular attendance are necessary to meet deadlines. May be required to adjust work hours due to surge situations based on critical mission requirements.

Independent personal transportation to work site is required.
Travel to and from customer's locations may be required to support projects.
This may involve airline travel. In some cases, accommodations can possibly be made for POV, if necessary.
When operating any vehicle for work purposes, must wear seat belt and in addition, no cellular devices are to be used when vehicle is in motion.
