The Boeing Company Helicopter Contract Instructor (Part-time) in Fort Walton Beach, Florida
This position will support a Helicopter Aircrew Training System (ATS) at NAS Whiting Field, FL.
Responsibilities will include:
Performs assigned DOL/SCA Occupation Code 15030 Air Crew Training Devices Instructor (Pilot) duties and responsibilities.
Performs Primary, Additional Support and Collateral Contract Instructor performance responsibilities as defined in the TH-57 ATS Performance Work Statement (PWS).
Provides instructional services to undergraduate students, graduate students, government instructors and Contract Instructors.
Provides instructional services in compliance with published curriculum requirements.
Provides Classroom (academic) instruction, training device (simulator) instruction and curriculum Subject Matter Expert support. Provides student briefings/debriefings.
Instructs students, evaluates and corrects student performance.
Provides additional/remedial instruction.
Grades student performance, maintains and updates student training records.
Maintains Contract Instructor qualifications, certifications and currency.
Performs assigned additional duties and responsibilities including Standardization Check Instructor (SCI).

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED):
A submitted resume which must be approved by customer
Experience as a Naval Air Training and Operating Procedures Standardization (NATOPS) qualified helicopter Pilot
Experience as a NATOPS qualified TH-57 Simulator Instructor within the proceeding 5 years
A bachelors degree
A minimum of 800 flying hours in any helicopter
A minimum of 1 deployed fleet tour
Experience as a trained/certified platform instructor
A minimum of 2 years experience providing Standardization Check Instructor (SCI) support
A minimum of 2 years experience providing curriculum based Subject Matter Expert (SME) support
