Classification Description (cut and paste from job description)

Directs and performs item and monetary accounting and inventory stock control, financial planning, and funds control. Computes requirement, determines allowance, and researches and identifies supplies and equipment requirements. Performs operations involved in storage, inspection, identification, and receipt of property. Conducts inventories. Operates automated equipment, special­purpose government vehicles, and materiel-handling equipment. Required to perform assigned tasks within your work center that directly supports necessary functions of this job classification.

Specialty Qualifications (cut and paste from job description)

a. Knowledge. Knowledge of basic mathematics, supply policies and procedures, Air Force property accounting, stock and inventory control accountability and responsibility is mandatory. Knowledge of the principles of property accounting through manual or Automated Data Processing (ADP), storage methods, warehouse control (receipt, issue, and disposal), and materiel-handling techniques is mandatory. Knowledge of the methods of preparing and maintaining supply records, manual and automated supply accounting systems, logistics principles and interactions (supply, maintenance, transportation, and procurement), and the proper handling, use, and disposal of hazardous waste and materials is mandatory. Knowledge of MIS (CAMS/IMDS) and desktop computer operations and use is mandatory. Must have working knowledge of Air Force supply procedures to look up, place orders, receive and maintain parts and materials to complete assigned work.

b. Education. Completion of high school with courses in mathematics is desirable.

c. Experience. Qualification as Supply Technician (FK Supply & HAZMAT Issue Point) is mandatory. Knowledge of conducting and performing inventory operations involved in storage, inspection, identification, and receipt of property is required.

Special Certifications and Qualifications required for position (as determined by Program Manager)

You must have held an Air Force maintenance/supply AFSC and possess the required qualifications in the attached job description. Must be able to travel in performance of these duties. SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED.
