Job Description

Job Summary:

The Contract Negotiator leads the operations of contract administration for contracts within a specific location or region.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the quality of contract data within the contract management system.

  • Develops and conducts contract management system and process training.

  • Reviews legal documents including notices, pleadings and correspondence and manages calendar of corresponding due dates/deadlines.

  • Provides consultation on contract interpretation, contractual risk identification, and contractual savings opportunities.

Qualifications

Education:

  • High School education or equivalent is required.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education/related experienced is required.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

Work Experience:

  • One year of technical experience is required.

  • Four years of technical experience is preferred.

  • Managed care and provider relations experience strongly preferred
