What You’ll Be Doing:
Evolent Health is looking for a Project Manager to join our Medicaid team. The Project Manager will coordinate with both internal and external customers to ensure deliverables are completed timely and effectively. The Project Manager will document, track and support resolution of issues and deliverables. The Project Manager will document, track and support resolution of issues and deliverables generated as part implementation work streams. This position does require 25-50% travel.
This position is responsible for managing implementation workstreams for, large scale initiatives. Projects may be related to business process/technology migrations, process-design, program deployment, and new initiatives in a client setting.
Manage client implementation meetings and internal and external implementation status meetings.
Maintain necessary documents, including but not limited to project plans, issues and action logs, status reporting, and risk mitigation.
Oversee implementation project plan across various groups within the organization and with external business partners.
Establish and nurture strong client and business partner relationships.
Inform and optimize organizational decision-making, operational execution, and resource allocation based on data and sound reasoning.
Facilitate identification of project impacts across all business areas.
Support business areas when roadblocks are encountered and aids in successful removal of obstacles (escalating where appropriate).
Perform post-deployment monitoring and coordination with points of contacts to adequately remediate any issues.
The Experience You’ll Need (Required):
5 years of project or program management experience in healthcare
Finishing Touches (Preferred):
Experience working on a virtual team
Experience with budgets, forecasts and workforce projections
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications including advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
Extremely strong client management experience, having demonstrated an ability to identify, communicate and manage risks with client executives.
