PCH Hotels & Resorts Lead Cook (Pastry) in Point Clear, Alabama


Senior level pastry cook experience in both food quality, consistency and production of all pastry food. Prepare all hot and cold items for service ensuring that all are prepared according to standards. Maintains a high degree of cleanliness throughout cooking area. Is responsible for ensuring consistent, high quality pastry products for all events. Maintains control charts of all food items produced. Responsible for opening and closing checklists and production of daily menu items. Works with the Food and Beverage management team and associates to continually improve guest and associate satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget. Must be able to read and follow menus and recipes and compute basic mathematical calculations. Trains new employees. Culinary school preferred.
