CONTINGENT UPON FINAL APPROVAL OF FUNDING
This position provides the following support to the Operational Flight Program (OFP) Combined Test Force (CTF) at Eglin AFB, FL.
Provides support during the planning, execution, and reporting phases of each OFP CTF developmental and operational test.
Assists leadership in the identification of test objectives, methods of testing, test support and documentation requirements for test projects.
Provides assistance with analysis, risk mitigations and alternatives in the DT & OT testing with systems/subsystems and disciplines to ensure that the government receives a project that is functional and fully supportable for the field.
Assists the test team with recent knowledge of and familiarity with aircraft systems, flight operations, security guidance, data processing software capabilities, and USAF policies to provide test support to OFP CTF government personnel.
BS Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field and a minimum of 3 years of applicable experience is required. Six years of applicable technical experience may be substituted for the technical BS degree requirement (total of 9 years) or four years of experience with an applicable Associates Degree (total of 7 years).
Active SECRET clearance is required (investigation within the last five years). Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Experience with radars or fighter tactical datalinks
Ethernet Standards Interface knowledge
Must be a self-motivated expert able to take responsibility for identifying, organizing, coordinating, executing necessary tasks leading to the successful accomplishment of assigned duties.
Must have a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of an integrated test team.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications is required.
Must be able to effectively communicate orally and possess technical writing skills to provide results to decision makers.
Flight Test Experience
MIL STD 1553 interface knowledge
Ability to author data analysis tools
