Radio Frequency Engineer

Key Role:

Join a team of systems engineering experts. Design RF systems designed to stimulate modern aircraft in a controlled environment and RF systems in the open-air environment. Perform RF analysis to predict system performance. Draft installation and cutover plans for RF systems and assist with installation and cutover. Meet with clients, prepare written technical reports, and deliver presentations to clients. Design RF systems to ensure communication over DoD ranges using a variety of wireless communication technologies.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience with RF systems engineering

-Experience with aspects of laboratory and field testing, including setting test goals, analyzing test methodologies, organizing and conducting tests, reducing test data, and analyzing results

-Experience with using RF test equipment, including spectrum analyzers and network analyzers

-Experience with installing, testing, and maintaining RF systems and equipment

-Ability to travel and perform work in challenging environments

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BS degree in EE, Physics, or Engineering

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with analyzing and implementing a variety of wireless communications technologies, including Wi-Fi, LTE, and satellite communications

-Experience with aircraft threat systems and simulators

-Experience in working with DoD anechoic chambers

-Experience with working distributed testing

-Secret or TS/SCI clearance preferred

-MA or MS degree in EE or ME preferred
